BIO:
Dj Verseatile also known as Chris Vu (born in Houston, Texas) is currently one of the Houston Rockets djs. Dj Verseatile has spun in just about every venue in Houston and has done radio show features, mix shows and is currently working on his return to the airwaves.
He began his career in Houston, Texas back in 2000. He began by working with several music artist helping them write their lyrics, working with producers on their production and also helping the engineer master records, til one day while hanging out at a friend’s (dj taboo) house, he witnessed turntables live in action, he had always seen it on TV and at the clubs but never really up close and in person. As taboo and his crew then practice Chris watched and was soaking everything in and one day he asked if he could try and failed miserably and was asked to leave, determined to conquer the turntables and master the art Chris bought a set of used turntables and a mixer and two records and continued to mix the same two records til he mastered it. He spent countless hours practicing and was determined to prove those that doubted him that he was capable and sure enough after months of rigorous training he made it to the club scene and was quickly acknowledged as an up and coming dj and in a year’s time established a name for himself in the Houston Scene. He was then dubbed the name Dj Verse a tile because of his versatility and abilities to help artist with their verses thus the spelling VERSE a tile.
Verseatile is currently working on several mixes including the SEX ADDICT series, the POWER UP series, a series of HOUSTON CLASSICS known as HOUSTON ROCK IT and a new line of dance mixes known as the AWAKENING. Stay tuned in for all the new mixes to come.
